UPPER / LOWER EYELIDS SURGERY

The objective of this procedure is to remove the excess of skin and fat which is concentrated in the upper eyelids. You will find that you will be able to move your eyes more freely without that excess skin and fat which feels heavy on the lids.

Similarly, on the lower eyelids, fat pads and extra skin is also reduced with surgical incisions, to a satisfactory level.

This procedure is performed, most of the cases, with local anaesthesia, combined with oral or intravenous sedatives. This way you will be awake during the surgery but will feel relaxed and insensitive to pain, although with some discomfort at times.

The duration of this surgery is one to three hours

You should be able to read or watch television after 2 to 3 days but contact leans for about two weeks.
